Stowe Parent/Community Night
Healthy Lamoille Valley is excited to partner with Stowe Schools to host a community/parent night to discuss updates in trends in substance use, with special focus on nicotine products, such as Zyn. The intention is to inform, but not overwhelm; to look at how we can best talk with our kids. All welcome! Light refreshments provided.
Youth Voices at the Statehouse
On Tuesday, February 10th, Vermont youth gathered in Montpelier for the annual OVX (Our Voices Xposed) Youth Statehouse Rally to advocate for stronger protections against vaping and nicotine use. This event gives middle and high school youth prevention leaders from across the state a chance to educate lawmakers, decision-makers, and fellow Vermonters about the impact of tobacco and nicotine on young people, schools, and communities.

Join us for our monthly hybrid coalition meeting on March 17th for a soft launch of TimeWise, 2nd Edition and a conversation about how it can support youth in a school, program, camp, counseling, or community setting.
Healthy Lamoille Valley Games Gala!
Healthy Lamoille Valley is a drug-free communities coalition seeking to prevent and reduce youth substance use in the Lamoille Valley. We do this by supporting prevention efforts in schools, third spaces, and education and support throughout the region. In support of this goal we are looking to develop a signature fundraiser that is different from other fundraisers in our area. Our Games Gala will be an evening of games and fun open for all ages. This is a great opportunity to support a great cause, and get out of the house!
Youth Advocacy at Work!
The Annual Our Voices Xposed, or OVX, Youth Statehouse Rally provides youth prevention leaders from Vermont middle and high schools a platform to educate and inform key decision makers and fellow citizens about tobacco and nicotine related issues and harms to schools, communities and young Vermonters, as seen and experienced firsthand.
Healthy and Safe Winter Celebrations!
Warm wishes from Healthy Lamoille Valley for healthy and safe winter celebrations and a Happy New Year! As we gather with family, friends, and community, it’s a good time to keep kids and teens safe by securing adult-use substances in your home and at gatherings. Alcohol and cannabis can impact your ability to drive. If you’re not able to drive, have a designated driver who can take over.
Keep Kids and Teens Safe this Winter
The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder here in Vermont. It’s a good time to gather with your family, friends, and community. As we enter the winter holiday season, it’s also a good time to make a plan to keep kids and teens safe by securing adult-use substances in your home and at gatherings.
