Community at Work! Morristown Clean Up!
On May 2nd, Healthy Lamoille Valley and many community partners joined forces to host the town’s first-ever Cigarette “Butt” Litter Clean-Up. More than 30 volunteers of all ages and abilities collected over 3,000 cigarette butts. Participants registered at the Healthy Lamoille Valley table on the lawn of the Morristown Centennial Library, picked up bags, counters and other supplies, and headed out into the community.

May Prevention Celebration!
On May 14th, Healthy Lamoille Valley (HLV) was excited to host our annual prevention celebration! This year’s theme was “Prevention is Better Together,” bringing together many community members, including 20 area students, to make connections and share stories of involvement in youth substance use prevention in our communities.
Screenagers Film Screening at the Bijou
Wednesday, April 9th, 6:30 – 8:00PM. This free screening is sponsored by Healthy Lamoille Valley in partnership with the Bijou as part of Morristown Free University. We will have a panel discussion following the 55 minute film.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 26th is a great opportunity to turn in your unwanted, unused, or expired medications.
