Come join us for a virtual Healthy Lamoille Valley Coalition Meeting on Wednesday, June 17th from 3:00-4:30 pm. Free and open to the community, all are welcome, this event is youth-friendly.

HLV staff will share their experience attending the virtual National Coalition Academy training in May. As first year recipients of the Drug-Free Communities Grant, HLV staff attend three week-long trainings in all and learn strategies and methods for growing our coalition and carrying out our work in the community.

After the share-out, we’ll split into two working groups and identify together what the needs of our community are and what resources are available in the Lamoille Valley region. This collaborative brainstorming is key to producing a Community Assessment built on community knowledge that can serve as a roadmap for our continued work in helping to prevent youth substance misuse in this region.

We will also discuss further opportunities for involvement that build on the work we do in this meeting.

RSVP at https://hlv-coalition-meeting-june.eventbrite.com to receive meeting information and email reminders.

Technical Note: We will be connecting using Zoom which you can join on your computer or by phone. There will be an activity involving looking at and editing a Google doc as a group. Copies of the documents we’ll be working on together will be emailed to you prior to the meeting so if you are calling in by phone you will be able to follow along and participate.
