We have a scheduling dilemma that has forced us to cancel February’s Healthy Lamoille Valley Coalition Meeting. It’s the best kind of dilemma and one that should be celebrated!  Our coalition is a graduate of the National Coalition Academy, a three-week intensive training program that helps us to do the work of the coalition in more meaningful ways!  We will be attending the graduation during our regularly scheduled coalition meeting time.

The first week in February is also the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) National Leadership Forum. We have a delegation of 14 attending this virtual conference from our region. As part of the conference there is the opportunity to meet with our VT Legislative delegation in Washington. The planning block for those meetings overlaps with our monthly coalition meeting time.

In light of all this we will not have our regularly scheduled February Coalition Meeting on the 2nd at 6:00 pm. We will plan to meet on March 2nd from 6:00-7:00pm on the topic of Engaging others in meaningful conversations to prevent youth substance misuse. We look forward to this conversation and want everyone to be able to participate!  Please register in advance for the March meeting here.
