Red Ribbon Week takes place October 23rd –31st and highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. It provides an opportunity for parents, educators, and communities to reinforce the drug-free messages they share with children throughout the year. During this week, youth and adults nationwide pledge to increase their knowledge about the harmful effects of drug abuse, including prescription drug misuse, and to renew their commitment to living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
This year’s theme, “Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free,” encourages individuals to see each healthy choice as a vital piece in creating a vibrant, drug-free future. It symbolizes how every decision shapes the bigger picture of one’s life. By making positive choices, we can collectively build a stronger, brighter community.
