Healthy Lamoille Valley is proud to bring the Askable Adult campaign to the Lamoille Valley!

Do you want to connect more meaningfully with the youth in your life? Have you felt like you don’t know what to say when a youth in your life shares something with you? Are you feeling like you wish you knew more about what’s really going on in your youth’s life?  Are you at a loss of how to connect during COVID?

If you’ve ever found yourself asking these questions- or any questions about how to connect with or support the youth in your life, the Askable Adult training can help! Join Healthy Lamoille Valley for a two-part series on how to connect more meaningfully with the youth in your life and how to navigate “tough stuff” as it comes up in your relationships with the youth in your life! Join us as we take on the “tough stuff” and break it down building habits for success!

HLV is offering a two-part training and certification in how to be an “Askable Adult” for the youth in your lives. During the two sessions, we will explore skill-building around how to have tough conversations, ways to listen actively for understanding, and how to build healthy, trusting relationships with youth and others in our lives.

For folks that are able to attend both sessions and complete the training, HLV will be raffling off FIVE $30 gift cards to Fork & Gavel to give you an opportunity to share a meal and hopefully some meaningful conversation with a youth in your life!

Who Should Attend:  Parents, grandparents, teachers, librarians, coaches, or anyone who talks with youth!

Cost:  Free! This program is supported by Vermont Children’s Trust Fund and Drug Free Communities Grants!
